Bone Crusher Barley Wine

Our Bonecrusher is a big complex beer, a real winter warmer. We have used all Australian malt and hops to create this brew. It was barrel fermented and matured in a French oak octave that was pre-soaked with 20 year old white tawny, and a Belgian yeast strain was used to add extra funk. Layers of different flavours meld together from toffee, fig, spice and subtle oak.

Food Match

This is a very hearty style ale which is best enjoyed with strong cheese or with a rich caramel or toffee based dessert.

Malt:Traditional Ale, Cara Malt and Crystal malt

Hops: Bittering, Flavour and Aroma- Galaxy and Stella
